THAILAND -- A spectacular event is taking place in Thailand.
Thailand's Lantern Festival is being held to celebrate the new year. There are various lanterns from Chinese, Japanese and European cultures lighting up the night sky.
This is the seventh year for the show. This year's theme is "colors of the south."
The event draws thousands of people between now and April.
