Snow moon over Austin

AUSTIN -- A full moon fell over Austin Tuesday morning.

It's called a "snow moon" because this is the time of year when North America typically has the most snow on the ground.

But this year, about 20 percent of the U.S. has snow on the ground. Last year, 60 percent had snow.
