LIBERTY HILL, Texas -- Snow was seen all over Central Texas Friday morning, even northwest of Austin in Liberty Hill.

One nieghborhood got lucky with yards nicely coated in snow. It rapidly melted away Friday morning, though.

At least one parent said her kids were anxious to get outside and play.

"They loved it. They wanted to go outside first thing. It was great for me because it helped me get them up and get dressed and out because they were so eager to go out and play in the snow," Pamela Caird said.

Most of what was seen were spots of snow here and there. There was a little bit of dusting on the roofs of houses and on the hoods of cars.
