SEATTLE -- There's a strange side-effect of legalizing marijuana in Washington state.
At a farmer's market in Seattle, a butcher is offering meat from pigs that are fed marijuana.
William von Schneidau says he buys the leftover marijuana from a medical grower. He says customers love the taste.
"Here in the butcher shop we're able to make anything you can imagine. Somebody requests something, and we make it, and make some extra of it, and see if people like it," he said.
He says the marijuana pork is so popular he often runs out, and yes, he's heard all the jokes about "smoked pork" and "pot-bellied pigs."
