DOWNTOWN AUSTIN -- On Monday, 8:30 p.m., a prayer vigil will be held for David Villarreal at the entrances of the 360 Condominiums on 360 Nueces Street.
An Austin Community hopes to remember the life of a man murdered in a downtown highrise.
Detectives say Matthew Bacon confessed to killing David Villarreal in his condo two weeks ago. Bacon told authorities he wanted to steal from Villarreal and that he had been looking to kill somebody. Bacon is being held in a Louisiana jail this morning on half a million dollars bond.
Friends, relatives, and community members will gather tomorrow to remember David Villarreal with a prayer vigil outside the 360 Condominiums where Villarreal lived.
The event will take place outside the main entrance at 8:30 Monday night. Everyone is invited to attend and show support for David's loved ones.
