AUSTIN -- Austin police are looking for a man accused of attempting to sexually assault several women since August 2012.

Police said, in most situations, Edgar Casas, 25, approached the victims in parking lots or laundry rooms of apartment complexes.

"When they come into the laundry area or area that they're isolated, he'll approach them from behind and that's when he grabs them and grabs their genitals," said Austin Police Commander Darryl Jamail.

Some of the women had children with them, however, this did not deter Casas. He also appears to be targeting specific women.

"Younger Hispanic females in their early to mid-20's," said Jamail.
Casas is described as a Hispanic man in his 20s. He is between 5’04” to 5’07” and of a thin build. He has short, dark, possibly wavy hair and a light complexion.

Police say Casas speaks Spanish. He may have a pierced ear and may be wearing an earring. He may have marks in upper right cheek that looks like a rash or scratches. He was last seen wearing a T-shirt and jeans that are often splattered with paint.
