South Texas police say they found the body of a man believed to be Jose Perez Sanchez. They are still waiting for positive identificatioin.
Austin Police say Perez is wanted for a shooting at Villas of Cordoba at 5901 East Stassney Lane in Southeast Austin.
Investigators believe he shot a woman in the back while her children stood nearby. She was reportedly standing in front of the leasing office when the shooting happened after 5pm Thursday.
Police say Perez is her ex-boyfriend. He is 170 pounds, 5’9” tall and was driving a 2002 Gray Chevy Silverado with Texas license plate 77P-LL9.
