23-games into the season, the young Texas Longhorns basketball team has yet to make much progress with a 10-13 record.
Rick Barnes and his coaching staff had to alter the initial plan with the team before the season tipped off at the Maui Invitational to not include returning All-Big 12 honorable mention point guard Myck Kabongo.
Kabongo accepted $475 and personal training while on a trip to Cleveland, Ohio back in 2012.
Kabongo was punished by the N.C.A.A. by serving a 23-game suspension.
That suspension has been served and the sophomore point guard will play his first minutes of the season Wednesday night vs Iowa State at the Erwin Center.
The big question is, will Kabongo's return to the lineup be enough or make that big of a difference for Texas to salvage their season and make a run for postseason play?
