MICHIGAN CITY, Indiana -- The memory of last week's election are already fading for many people -- but not everyone.
Eric Hartsburg, an Indiana Republican, will remember it for the rest of his life because it is tattooed on his face. Hartsburg went above and beyond to campaign for presidential candidate Mitt Romney by getting Romney's logo branded on the side of his head.
At first he tried to auction his face on eBay, but that failed. Afterward he went door to door until someone bought the canvas.
"A Republican party candidate stepped up and was like, 'Hey, I'll give you 15 G's to do the side of the head. We'll do something tasteful,'" Hartsburg said.
When Romney lost the election, Hartsburg's friends started to worry about how he would deal with the permanent campaign slogan. He says he has no regrets and would do it all over again. He plans to use the money for his kids' college fund.
