JERSEY CITY, New Jersey -- A malfunctioning escalator sends people into a panic.
The incident happened at a Jersey City train station Monday.
The escalator going up abruptly changed directions, sending people back down.
In the confusion, five people suffered cuts, scrapes and bruises.
