AUSTIN -- Among the tens of thousands of people at Austin City Limits Music Festival is a small group dedicated to helping the homeless. It's called Mobile Loaves and Fishes, and they help the homeless find jobs and housing.

The non-profit is partnering with C3 and ACL organizers to sell ice cream to festival goers. It's a micro-enterprise opportunity called Sweet Treats.

They have two homeless vendors on bikes selling Blue Bell frozen treats for a dollar each.

"They get all the profits and all the tips. They usually, at festivals like this, will average between $25 and $33 an hour. So it helps them to lift themselves off the streets and earn income in a dignified way," said Director of Micro-enterprise Opportunities Nate Schlueter.

Mobile Loaves and Fishes is selling five different flavors of ice cream. They will be at ACL both weekends.
