OAKLAND, California -- Residents in Oakland, California are getting bombarded with more than 2,000 gnomes.
An artist painted small pieces of wood and put the gnomes on utility poles around the city.
The area's electric company wants them removed, but are allowing them to stay for now.
Area business are drying to find the gnomes a more permanent home.
