The feathers were flying in California in an unusual celebration of Valentine's Day. Hundreds of participants armed with pillows gathered for the eighth annual Great San Francisco Pillow Fight.
Organizers had to remind participants to only whack people with pillows in hand. Officials say the feathers aren't the easiest thing to clean up. Last year, cleanup costs were estimated at about $5,000.
