AUSTIN -- A former Longhorns corner-back is facing drunk driving charges Saturday evening.

Austin police arrested Cedric Griffin just after three Saturday morning in East Austin.

His blood alcohol level was over twice the legal limit. According to an arrest affidavit, he was also driving without a valid license.

Griffin played at UT from 2002 to 2005 then went to the Minnesota Vikings until 2011.

He's currently a free agent.
