MIAMI, Florida -- Floridians celebrated the 500th anniversary of their state's discovery by Europeans over the weekend.
They partied in a way you might not expect -- by making the world's largest sangria. The classic alcoholic beverage was created in a 500-liter pitcher for the anniversary.
Miami's Little Havana, the local Kiwaniz Club that held the party, says this sangria broke the world record in the Guiness Book.
