BASTROP, Texas -- A long-anticipated episode of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" featuring a family affected by the Bastrop wildfire will finally hit airwaves.
KVUE was there last December when the crew from the hit ABC show built a brand new home in Bastrop for Mizzy and Chris Zdroj and their three children. Their home burned in the fire Labor Day weekend of last year.
Mizzy is a volunteer firefighter with the Heart of the Pines Volunteer Fire Department. The show also remodeled their fire station, since it was damaged in the fire as well.
