Whether you're a man or woman, sometimes you just want to change your hair, but dying it takes time and may not give you the look you want.

Now there's a product that promises to work on all types of hair, giving you instant, eye-popping color that washes right out.

Quita put Hot Huez to the test. The temporary hair chalk claims to be fast, fun and easy to wash out -- color without commitment.

She headed to Garbos salon where hair color is king.

Star said she’s ready for a change. Her hair was extremely blond, and she was hoping to add some color.

“It's just plain white. It's temporary, and if I don't like it, I can take it out,” she said.

Hair stylist Stefan helped with the Hot Huez transformation.

“I think it would be a great idea for people who want to have fun and not have to worry about residue and stains in their hair and not have to worry about the commitment of retouching the fashion colors,” he said.

The four chalk compacts come in vivid shades of blue, pink, purple and green.

It didn't take long to turn Star’s hair into a rainbow.

Next up was Jordan, KVUE’s Web wizard.

They're easy to use, but one thing we noticed was Hot Huez can be messy.

“So the chalk is falling off a little bit when I'm putting it on,” Stefan said. "It seems like the more we use, the more it actually breaks down on there.”

Jordan decided to keep the color in her hair, but Star wanted to wash hers to see if the color would come out easily. It took one shampoo to make Hot Huez disappear.

Hot Huez gets a thumbs up.

You can find Hot Huez at Bed Bath and Beyond. A pack of four costs about $10.
