This marks the 3rd full school year Cedar Ridge High School has existed and the girls basketball program has already made their presence known.
In 2011-2012, the 2nd year of the Lady Raiders basketball, Cedar Ridge advanced to the regional quarterfinals.
One major reason for the early success maybe their head coach Angela Beck, who was the head women's basketball coach at the University of Nebraska and also professionally.
