SAN DIEGO, California -- A baby panda got a clean bill of health during a routine check up at the San Diego Zoo this week.
The panda just turned six months old. Doctors say he is growing and gaining weight as expected and is up to 19.4 pounds now.
The zoo's giant pandas are on loan from the People's Republic of China as part of a research program.
