AUSTIN -- There's a new boss at the Austin Fire Department -- five-year-old Cameron Wade.

She's only in Kindergarten, but Monday she got to be fire chief for the afternoon.

Cameron met AFD Chief Rhoda Mae Kerr who gave her a tour of headquarters and a ride in a fire truck.

Cameron's parents say she insisted on wearing the uniform and can't wait to be a real fire chief when she grows up.
