ALVIN, Texas -- A five-year-old East Texas girl hoped she could help police catch a man on the run with her drawing.
Angelina Rector drew a picture of the suspect after she saw him running through her neighborhood in Alvin. Police were chasing him and Angela stood outside for two hours waiting for officers to return so that she could show them her sketch.
But they didn't.
At the end of the week, Angelina's mom took her to the police station where they are now proudly displaying her work of art. The police chief also presented her with an award.
