Louisville, KY – The death of a California infant is leading to the recall of about 220,000 infant travel beds.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission and Kid-Co announced the recall of Pea Pod travel cribs with air mattresses after reports that children were trapped while sleeping.
The CPSC said infants could roll between the air mattress and the fabric side of the tent raising the danger of suffocation.
Kid-Co is offering kits to address the danger and to keep the pocket from forming.
