TRAVIS COUNTY -- Travis County Commissioners are hammering out plans to get people to and from the Formula 1 race in November. They're making accommodations for fans on two wheels instead of four.

On Tuesday the court unanimously approved a plan to license a county park to the Circuit of the Americas.

Richard Moya Park will serve as a bicycle staging area for cyclists who will be riding shuttle buses the weekend of November 15-17, 2013.

After riding their bikes to the park, race fans will then be shuttled to the track.

Circuit of the Americas will be responsible for setting up and taking down any kind of structures they put up to hold the bikes.

The bicycle staging area was also used last year. The county says up to 400 cyclists used it each race day.

The park and its amenities will remain open during the Formula 1 races.
