Just call me a Big 12 vagabond. I've been a sportscaster in College Station, Waco and now Austin, the town where I grew up. There's no question that this is the greatest city, in the greatest state, in the greatest country on Earth, and I count myself fortunate to do what I do for a living.
I grew up a big Texas Longhorns fan, and that makes my status as a die-hard Aggie an interesting story to tell. Be sure an ask me about it sometime. Suffice to say Texas A&M was the right fit for me, but I have a healthy respect for the Burnt Orange and its storied history and tradition.
When I'm not working, I love to travel, spend time outdoors with my dogs and make my wife laugh. I'm a health nut like so many Austinites, and I enjoy physical challenges like marathons (I'm a Ladybird Lake regular), dodgeball, sand volleyball, you name it. I also like to cook when the urge to sample yet another great Austin restaurant doesn't win out.
The best part of my job is sharing in the excitement of sports all over the city and state. I consider it a privilege to work with the best sports team in Central Texas and telling the stories KVUE viewers want to see. Be sure to say "Hi" when you see me out and about, and you can find me anytime via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
