Frank is a proud graduate of the University of Florida, where he earned a degree in broadcast journalism.
His professional career began at WJXT-TV in Jacksonville Florida, where he worked as a reporter, producer and assignment editor.
It was at WJXT where Frank decided to focus his career on producing newscasts. He then produced newscasts at KWTV in Oklahoma City, and WTSP TV Tampa/St. Petersburg.
After three years in Tampa, Frank was hired at WSB-TV Atlanta to produce that station's 6pm news. It was at WSB where Frank went into management, being promoted to executive producer in charge of that station's primary newscasts.
After a successful 10-year career at WSB, Frank became a news director at WTVQ-TV, the ABC affiliate in Lexington, Kentucky. From Lexington Frank's journalism career brought him to WAFF-TV, the NBC affiliate in Huntsville, Alabama. Frank became the executive news director at KVUE Television in August of 2000.
During Frank's tenure at KVUE, his staff has garnered numerous state and national awards for journalism excellence, including a national Edward. R. Murrow award for Overall Excellence.

Frank and his family live in the Austin area. His wife Pat teaches kindergarten in the Leander School District. His son Frankie is in graduate school at Texas A&M pursuing a master's degree in architecture.
