Sports and family are the names of my game! I've been at KVUE since 1989, and interned at the station in 1987 and 1988. I've seen lots of changes around town and have been able to experience the highs of some national championships, including the Rose Bowl win in January of 2006 and the baseball titles in Omaha in 2002 and 2005.
I've been lucky enough to cover lots of events around the country, including Super Bowls, All-Stars Games, March Madness and more. But my favorite assignments are Friday Football Fever and Texas Tailgaters. Those KVUE shows air during football season in the fall and put a spotlight on high school teams and the Texas Longhorns.
I grew up in the Dallas area, a huge fan of the Cowboys and Rangers, and still have family there. You may have seen my more immediate family on KVUE. My wife, Kim, is a former KVUE News anchor. And our kids, Brandon and Taylor, have grown up around the station.
I love to talk to fans around the Austin area. So next time you see me, say "Hi", and watch for me weeknights on KVUE News at 6 and 10!
