Westwood quarterback has talent

Will Jennings has led Westwood a fast start.

Whenever you lose 14-straight games and experience success, any touchdown results in elation. That's been the case for the Westwood Warriors often after the 1st two weeks of the season.

Westwood has defeated both Lehman and Rouse. "To see what these kids have put themselves through to get to this point, it makes this group in my 23-years of coaching the most special group I've been able to associate with. Westwood Head Coach, Anthony Wood said.

Junior quarterback Will Jennings has led the way. The former receiver has accounted for 725 combined yards and 7 touchdowns. Jennings says his experience as a receiver has benefited him as a quarterback,
"I was always a quarterback growing up, but moving to receiver helped me know what receviers wanted. I did not know I would be this successful as a quarterback."
It requires some talent to make a position change, but Will's family is loaded with talent beginning with his mom, Kathleen Jennings, who is a former KVUE news reporter.
I asked Will if he believes his mom will critique his interview at home. Jennings said, "Definitely, she will write a list and check everything off".
The Warriors quarterback then gave a shoutout to his mom.
A shoutout to a football mom who is probably enjoying her son's team and Westwood's 2-0 start to the season.
