The Longhorns have scheduled home football games with BYU and UTEP for the 2011 and 2012 seasons, The University of Texas announced Tuesday. UT will host BYU on Sept. 10, 2011 and UTEP on Sept. 8, 2012. The Longhorns also confirmed the Texas-Texas A&M game will remain on Thanksgiving Night for the next two years.
Texas and BYU played a home and home series in 1987 and 1988 with the Cougars winning both contests. UT and UTEP have played four times with the Horns claiming victory in all four meetings.
