It's been nearly 12-years since Texas head coach Mack Brown has been forced to deal any suspension before a bowl game.

Both quarterback Case McCoy and linebacker Jordan Hicks were suspended for violating team rules early Friday morning.

Alleged reports of a sexual assault are tied to this incident, but that has yet to be confirmed.
