Pacman is back with the Boys
05:15 PM CST on Wednesday, November 19, 2008
The NFL is giving Adam "Pacman" Jones another chance after his alcohol-related troubles.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones today said the suspended cornerback has been reinstated by league commissioner Roger Goodell.
The player has completed the inpatient part of his NFL-ordered alcohol treatment.
Jerry Jones says Adam Jones won't play this Sunday against San Francisco or the following game on Thanksgiving, against Seattle.
That would peg the player's return for Dec. 7 at Pittsburgh.
Jerry Jones says Adam Jones could return to practice Monday.
The player was suspended Oct. 14, a week after getting into an alcohol-related scuffle in Dallas with a team-paid bodyguard.
Adam Jones played six games after missing the entire 2007 season for the Tennessee Titans because of repeated legal troubles.
