Rangers score 17... and lose

The Rangers scored 15 runs or more for the 51st time in the team's history. But for the first time, they lost the game.
Boston outlasted Texas 19-17.
The Red Sox scored 10 runs in the first inning Tuesday night -- six courtesy of two three-run home runs by David Ortiz -- and got a 3-run home run by Kevin Youkilis in the bottom of the 8th to come back to win.

The Rangers got 20 hits, batting around in the 5th and 6th innings, and took a 16-15 lead into the bottom of the 8th. Frankie Francisco, the 5th pitcher of the night for Texas, gave up four runs in the 8th. Marlon Byrd had 5 hits for Texas, while Ian Kinsler and Chris Davis had four RBIs each.
