Ruth Holdorff was 18 years old when she married 20-year-old Nolan Ryan in 1967, but it was a love affair that began way before that. She watched him through little league all the way to the majors, raising a family at home as he became a Hall of Fame pitcher. But that's not to say it's been easy for Nolan or Ruth Ryan.
