It's been a long 7-years since the Texas Longhorns softball program has advanced far enough to play in Oklahoma City, the home of the Women's College World Series.
UT ended that frustration on Sunday with 4-0 win over Florida State at home in game-2 of their super regional series.
The Longhorns put the Seminoles away with a 4-run 5th inning. A pair of homers by Katrina Scott and Taylor Thom was all that was needed.
Texas senior pitcher Blaire Luna pitched a gem of a game, striking out 13 FSU hitters and tossing a no-hitter.
UT will meet Arizona State in OKC Thursday at 6:00 PM.
