The Texas Longhorns men's basketball team played inspired and fundamental, team basketball at home against Kansas.
UT led the Jayhawks by 11 midway through the 2nd half. Sheldon McClellan received his 1st significant amount of minutes in 3-games and led the Horns with 18 points.
During the final 5-minute stretch of the game, KU pulled away from the jaws of defeated by outscoring the Longhorns 19-9. Ben McClemore gave Kansas a 64-63 after hammering a dunk on a Jayhawk fastbreak.
Texas ended up losing 64-59 falling to 8-9 on the season and 0-4 in the Big 12.
