CHICAGO, IL – Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan has put his Chicago area mansion on the market for $29 million, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The nine-bedroom, 15-bathroom home in Highland Park, Illinois has been listed for $29 million.
Jordan, who also has a luxury condo in uptown Charlotte, has owned the home for 15 years. It was finished in 1995 and renovated in 2009.
Jordan’s famous number 23 is engraved in the private gates leading to the estate, and there is a full-sized private basketball gym on the premises.
"Elegance & utmost privacy abound at this perfectly situated, privately gated estate nestled on over 7 acres," says the home listing description. "With outstanding attention to detail, function & style, this home is as comfortable as it is elegant."
The listing says those interested in looking at the home must have verified financial references in advance.
The Bobcats owner recently got engaged with Yvette Prieto, but the hoops team he oversees is struggling, with a league-worst 4-28 record.
Jordan also owns a mansion in Palm Beach County, Florida.
