Texas Rangers to honor law enforcement

ARLINGTON, TEXAS - The Texas Rangers said they will honor active police officers this month by giving those with valid ID two free tickets to an upcoming game.

A tweet by the team late Friday morning states active police officers with valid ID can get two free tickets to the Oakland/Texas game on Sept. 17. Officers wishing to attend must pick up their tickets in advance at the third base ticket windows 4-7 p.m., and additional tickets are available at a discount.

The team is also doing a presentation before the game, and all officers in attendance will be allowed to participate.
