GEORGETOWN, Texas (AP) -- Megan Dunnigan scored twice, including the go-ahead goal in a shootout, as Cedar Park Vista Ridge held on to beat Denton Ryan 2-1 in the state tournament's second Class 4A semifinal.

Dunnigan tipped one past keeper Anna Kraft to open the scoring in the first half. Ryan knotted the score in the second period on Kirby Wright's 20-yard kick of a Lindsey Eccles feed. The score stayed after two 10-minute overtime periods. Then Vista Ridge's Megan and Brooke Dunnigan and Emily Glenn each had goals, while Eccles notched Ryan's only shootout goal.

It was the first shootout in the girls state tournament since 2005.

Ryan spent most of the game with 10 players after Stevie Harris was sent off after 19 minutes for sliding into Vista Ridge goalkeeper Katie Turner.
