ROUND ROCK, Texas (AP) -- Dustin Potts doubled home the go-ahead run and Hayden DuBose homered and pitched a complete game to lead Evadale past Thorndale, 5-4, in the Class 1A baseball semifinals Wednesday.

Potts broke a 4-4 tie with his two-out double to cap a two-run sixth inning before DuBose got the final out with the tying run on third in the seventh.

Evadale (30-5) will face Windthorst in Thursday's championship game.

DuBose went 3 for 3 with three RBIs, including a solo homer. He improved to 10-0 after allowing six hits and four runs, two earned.

Thorndale (24-12) went ahead 4-3 by scoring two runs in the sixth on an error and a sacrifice fly.

Paxton Jordan allowed 11 hits and five runs in six innings for Thorndale.
