PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Pittsburgh wide receiver Limas Sweed is looking to finally deliver on his potential.

The former second-round pick has been an enigma during his three seasons with the Steelers. He totaled just seven receptions in his first two years in the league, and missed the entire 2010 season after tearing the Achilles tendon in his left leg.

The 26-year-old says he's finally healthy after spending the NFL lockout working out at the University of Texas. Sweed added he's eager to show people that he can be the big-play receiver the Steelers envisioned when they took him 53rd overall in the 2008 NFL Draft.

Pittsburgh could use a receiver with Sweed's 6-foot-4 frame, but playing making the team could be difficult with 11 receivers fighting for five or six roster spots.
