COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) -- Texas A&M is back in the College World Series for the first time since 1999.

The Aggies (47-20) would love to bring home a championship banner to add to the $24 million renovation of Olsen Field. The work is scheduled to be finished before next season.

A&M faces defending national champion South Carolina (50-14) on Sunday. The Aggies upset Florida State in the Tallahassee Super Regional and have won six of eight games since losing ace pitcher John Stilson to a shoulder injury.
