The Barnes Family is back from it's annual summer road trip. And, with apologies to the Barnes girls, it was a very sporty vacation.
Don't think for a second that it wasn't a well-rounded trip. We saw two dance studios used in the TV show "Dance Moms", we saw four state capitals (that pushes the kids total to 31 out of 50) and we went on a Ford Factory Tour.
But we got to see baseball games in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Detroit.
We went by college football stadiums at Ohio State, Kentucky, Louisville, Marshall, West Virginia, Michigan, and Michigan State.
We saw Churchill Downs, Joe Louis Arena, and the high school where LeBron James went to school.
Went to batting practice for the Indians vs the Nationals and saw Ross Ohlendorf, the former St Stephens star. Then saw former Longhorn Drew Stubbs score the game winning run.
A home run by Miguel Cabrera in Detroit and a look at all three rivers outside the stadiums in Pittsburgh.
A great sporty trip! Even for the Barnes girls.
