I love doing March Madness brackets.  And I only do one.  Not several and the brag about the best.  Just one.

But here's my problem.  I still haven't found the PERFECT way to decide who does the best.

More points for the later rounds?   More points for upsets?  But how many????

The one time I won a "friendly" bracket contest, it was because I picked the overall winner.  But so many years, it's going to be a number one seed, so what have you proven?

I want more credit for picking the early round upsets.   Show me a double digit seed who goes to the sweet 16... and get LOTS of credit for picking them.

This year, I couldn't find a double digit seed I liked well enough to go that far.  I do have Houston and Siena winning in the first round.  And I actually picked Baylor to go to the Final Four, beating A&M in the regional final.  I believe in "Home Cookin'" at the Reliant Center.

But, in the end, I couldn't get away from Kansas and Kentucky.  Two number one seeds playing for the title.

And it's not that I'm biased toward the Big 12 that has me picking the Jayhawks to win.   I just couldn't find anyone better!
