At the young age of 77, college football Hall of Fame coach, Bill Snyder picked up a new hobby...
Back in April, the legendary Kansas State head coach entered the world of social media in the Twitterverse.
Snyder said, "I don't follow anybody on Twitter, I just go on and put my stuff on and go about my business".
Since this interview back in late July, Snyder now follows 13 people and has over 20,000 followers.
I asked Snyder if he had any interesting moments on Twitter and if he noticed the benefits in recruiting because he's been a positive Tweeter. Snyder said, "I know I could be more heavily involved by following people and interacting that way".
Snyder praised his players for their commitment and effort during spring camp in his 1st tweet. Throughout the year, Snyder posts pictures of his family and of the prairies in and around Manhattan, Kansas. He also gave a shoutout to all of the moms on Mother's Day. The Wildcats coach said, "I don't know where to go from here or how much longer I'll continue to do it".
Just like his coaching style, Snyder's tweets are classy, inspirational, and motivational. He doesn't have any selfies, but he did say when people request one he certainly does stop and take a picture with them.
The humble hall of famer obliged another selfie request on this day, too.
