NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell started dropping hints that the NFL might eliminate the Pro Bowl after a pathetic performance by both AFC and NFC squads on January 29 in Honolulu. It's widely known that the players do what they can to avoid seriously injuring each other in the exhibition match-up, but what fans saw this year was ridiculous, with players barely trying to tackle and receivers getting wide open against the best defenders in the league. Then there's the growing trend of players who are voted to the game who, for one reason or another, choose not to play, forcing the league to bring in 5th, 6th and sometimes 7th string "All-Stars."
