San Antonio took a 3-2 lead in the N.B.A. Finals after knocking off Miami 114-104 in game 5.
Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich opted to start struggling 6th man Manu Ginobili and he responded with 24 points and 10 assists. Ginobili was averaging 7 points per game in the previous 4-games of the N.B.A. Finals.
Danny Green came off the bench and provided 26 points and knocked down 6 of 10 three point shot attempts. Green also broke Ray Allen's record of 3-pointers made in an N.B.A. Finals series. Green now has 25.
Tony Parker added 26 points.
Game 6 will take place Tuesday night in Miami.
