Louis Murillo was born and raised in Austin, TX.

Before he was a teenager, Murillo would snag foul balls while watching UT baseball games while in a tree overlooking the Longhorns old baseball stadium, Clark Field.

Murillo didn't finish high school, but took on any job the UT athletic department would allow him including Darrell Royal. Murillo was DKR's driver of his Mercedes.

Since then, Murillo has directed traffic to assigned parking lots and provided direction to media covering UT and to the athletes in the tunnel to lockerrooms.

One constant about Murillo has been his passion for Longhorn sports. He's seen most of the legends like Bobby Lane, Tommy Nobis, and Earl Campbell.

His humor is another story. It's a trait about him which fans, coaches, the athletes current and past gravitate towards.
