Stanley Bonewitz was named Mister Texas Basketball in 1995 after his senior season at East Central High School in San Antonio.
Bonewitz starred at Texas Tech and is now the head coach at Concordia University in Austin.
The Tornados athletic program recently stepped up from N.A.I.A. to the N.C.A.A. division III level. Bonewitz has guided the Concordia program to the N.C.A.A. Tournament this season in the 1st season at that level.
