By BILL NICHOLS / The Dallas Morning News

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Coach Mike Sherman said that DE Michael Bennett's knee will probably not need surgery, but his status for Saturday is uncertain. DB Jordan Peterson (shoulder, elbow), OL Travis Schneider (leg) and RB Keondra Smith (foot) are probable.

Sherman praised the play of freshman Trent Hunter, who was named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week. Hunter made a team-high 17 tackles, including 11 solo stops, in his first start against Army.
