First-year coach Mike Sherman wasn't happy with the Aggies' inconsistency as the first week of practices came to a close, and had mixed feelings about his team's first workout in the afternoon heat.

"We need to have these guys understand that we will play in this type of weather this year," Sherman said. "They have to be able to handle it. I don't know if we handled it really well today. In phases we did, but overall I thought we struggled at times."
