Coach Mike Sherman led his first fall practice with Texas A&M, a simple two-hour workout in which he said he was especially pleased with the play of the receiving corps.

Sherman noted that his receivers dropped only a few passes, but said the Aggies were rusty overall.

"It looked like a first practice," he said. "I thought the guys had some good retention from this past spring, but we do have to clean some things up."
